Christopher J. Sues

Prior to forming his own Firm, Mr. Sues was the Chairman of the Pitta & Giblin LLP Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice. He served as counsel to numerous Taft-Hartley multiemployer benefit plans, regularly dealt with issues involving the fiduciary responsibility of trustees; assisted in the review of investment management performance; analyzed and made recommendations with respect to the design and administration of welfare plans including cost-containment and quality assurance issues.
Prior to joining Pitta & Giblin LLP, Mr. Sues was the Chairman of Pryor Cashman LLP’s Employee Benefits, Executive Compensation and ERISA Practice Group, where he counseled clients in employee benefit and executive compensation matters, and the design and preparation of employment agreements.
Clients seek counsel from Mr. Sues regarding the strategy involved in transactional matters, the implementation of employment agreements, and a number of other matters. Mr. Sues also has expertise providing advice with respect to compliance matters such as Section 409A of the tax code and other applicable legal rules and regulations.
Mr. Sues has represented the CEOs, CFOs and COOs of various public and private companies in the securities industry, real estate industry, banking industry, as well as a number of other industries.
Mr. Sues served as Managing Partner of Shea & Gould LLP, and served on the firm’s Executive Committee.

Mr. Sues received his B.A. from Le Moyne College and his J.D., cum laude from New York Law School.
